The Story of Art told through Collectors and Critics
This 30-week course looks at the lives and decisions made by those who really made
Art History – the Commissioners, Collectors & Critics.
We shall look at important figures like the Medicis of the Renaissance,
the monarchs of the 17th and 18th centuries, and the millionaire collectors of today.
The course will run at three different sites:
West Durrington Community Centre on Wednesdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon,
starting on 18th September. The cost will be £405.00 for the whole year,
or £140.00 per 10-week term.
Cuckfield Old School on Thursdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon,
starting on 19th September. The cost will be £435.00 for the whole year,
or £150.00 per 10-week term.
Northbrook College, Broadwater Campus on Fridays from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm,
starting on 20th September.
